RIGHT WAY- with this new age style of applying moldings to your home. The colors are more cohesive and don't have to many start and stop lines for the eye to adjust. In terms of the dining room the moldings are carried up the wall just below the ceiling to again achieve the sense of grandeur but in a very muted way
